Illumination Mural
Project Overview
Rock and Rye contacted us with two problems that needed to be solved. Firstly, there was a large blank wall on the outdoor patio that was not sufficiently interesting. Secondly, there was a lack of visibility for the establishment. Right away, we thought a mural to be the ideal solution, as it would cover the wall and also increase visibility. We ultimately landed on a design that extended the atmosphere of the interior to the exterior.
We created false windows with custom artwork inspired by the establishment's history and fabricated a Chicago-style architecture-inspired exterior frame. We designed the false windows as backlit panels with full RGB control, which resulted in a beautiful, warm glow that really tied the space together. Since then Rock and Rye have seen a significant increase in customer traffic and ton of compliments. We had such a great time on this project.
